    Discovery Senior Living is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our home office team in Bonita Springs, FL.

    Qualified candidates must possess strong creativity, typography, page layout, copy writing, time management and communication skills. Responsibilities include working in tandem with marketing managers and other graphic design team members on development of sales collateral, marketing flyers, program brochures, print and digital advertisements, signage and other assigned tasks. Position will be required to meet the strategic objectives set by the Director of Client Services, on time and within budget, including time tracking, job trafficking and special assignments as needed. Must have a full understanding of and complete technical abilities with Adobe Creative Suite design software and tools. This includes proficiency in in Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator – full creative knowledge suite is a plus.     The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

    • Develop marketing print collateral for communities: site plans, building floor plans, amenity plans, etc.
    • Develop brand specific brochures, flyers, direct mail, program materials and stationary packets
    • Develop print and digital advertisements
    • Manage portfolio brand standards
    • Manage corporate marketing program brand standards
    • Manage communications with strategists, opening new projects, reviewing revisions and meeting deadlines
    • Work in partnership with SVP of Marketing on special assignments
    • Track and analyze job time, expenses and recommend efficiencies
    • Execute and meet the strategic objectives set by the SVP of Marketing, on time and within budget, including assistance with developing job time tracking, job trafficking and technology assets
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Educational Requirements and Experience :

    • Hybrid Schedule
    • Minimum of five years’ experience designing various marketing and sales materials
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
    • Strong design experience and portfolio
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, & Acrobat
    • Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams and a basic knowledge of database marketing
    • Basic understanding of workflow software and deliverables
    • Multimedia, video and photo editing knowledge preferred

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Language Ability:

    • Excellent writing, design and presentation skills required

    Mathematical Skills:

    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commission proportions, percentages, area, circumference and value
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

    Competencies:

    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
    • Ability to multi-task and work quickly
    • Ability to proofread copy
