  • Responsibilities

    North American Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor in the United States. We are searching for a Lead Roofing Service Repair Technician (Commercial Roofing) located within the Jacksonville, FL metro area.

    The average pay rate for this position is $22-$25 / Hr.

    Purpose of the Job:

    Investigate and repair a variety of low-slope roof types.

    Job Duties:

    • Ability to find and repair all types of low-slope commercial roofs
    • Perform Service repairs as needed
    • Perform small contract jobs
    • Performing inspections with minor preventative maintenance repairs
    • Communicating with the customers on repairs or inspection status’ and assisting in resolving various issues
    • Assisting in all snow and hurricane events to either participate in repairs or supervision
    • Responsible for learning and operating service software (FCS)
    • Ability to provide accurate information into service software (FCS)

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of commercial roofing experience as an installer or service technician
    • Experience as a roofing foreman recommended
    • Ability to obtain OSHA, Man-lift, and Forklift certifications will be required
    • Must be able to climb a ladder; position may require lifting up to 80 lbs
    • Must be able to work outside in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow)
    • Ability to operate tablet and smartphone
    • Weekend and/or overnight travel may be required
    • A good driving record is essential for this position
    • Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
