Job Description
- Partner with recruiters to understand position requirements, skills, and experience needed for logistics-related roles.
- Partner with hiring managers and business group or organization leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Research and identify potential candidates through online databases, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), industry job boards, and logistics networking groups.
- Source candidates with utilizing search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market
- Directly contact candidates via phone, email, and messaging platforms to introduce job opportunities and assess qualifications.
- Build strong talent pipelines through sourcing on job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach for warehouse, transportation, freight, and supply chain positions.
- Screen candidates for basic logistics skills, work experience, and interest before passing them to recruiters.
- Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) updated with accurate candidate records and sourcing activity.
- Track sourcing progress, outreach response rates, and provide regular updates to the recruiting team.
- Support employer branding efforts in the logistics community by attending industry events, job fairs, and networking activities.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to improve sourcing strategies and candidate engagement.
- Perform other recruiting support tasks as needed.
Contract Period: 6 Months (+)
Salary: $26 - $32 /yr. (DOE)
