    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    Under the overall supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Physical Therapy, the Physical Therapy Aide gives assistance in treatment, patient care, and general departmental functions not requiring formalized training of Physical Therapy.  Each PT Aide is assigned to a particular team within the Physical Therapy Department.  

    Type of supervision exercised: none.  Jobs reporting to this position: none. 

    EDUCATION: 

    High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred. 

    WORK EXPERIENCE: 

    No experience required. 

    SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: 

    CPR certification is required and must be maintained.

    Excellent communication skills required for effective communication with management, staff, patients, and visitors.

    Valid PA driver's license required for travel to PT Clinics as needed.

    Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care appropriate to the age specific need and culture of the patient served. 

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Medium Work: duties require exerting 25 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally (approx 10-33% of shift), and/or 10-25lbs. of force frequently (approx 33-66% of the time), and/or greater than negligible amount up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects.

    Position involves occasional (up to 25% of shift) pushing (up to 100 lbs) on a 28 ramp.

    Position involves bending, reaching, and stooping (occasionally in strained position) throughout shift.

    Ability to transport self throughout facility is required.

    Must be able to travel to various PT Clinics as needed.

    ACCIDENT OR HEALTH HAZARDS:

     Occasional exposure to blood and body substances.

     WORKING CONDITIONS:

     Works in well-lit office, gym, and patient care areas.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Excellent experience on Creation of Custom Groups, Attributes, Consolidations, Facts, Filters, Attributes and Metrics, Prompts
    • Excellent experience in MSTR performance tuning and advanced SQL Scripting
    • Experience developing drill down and ad hoc reports
    • Experience with the ETL process and creating datasets to support reports and dashboards
    • Highly proficient in writing complex yet efficient SQL
    • Experience with OLAP and/or OLTP technologies
    • Knowledge of data warehouses/data stores and data marts
    • Experience developing a test plan and executing test scenarios related to building and deploying reports
    • Effective communication skills for interaction with staff, peers and customers
    • Expertise in relational databases
    • Excellent Organization and Time Management skills
    • Proficiency in creating scopes of work with detailed work plans in accordance to SDLC techniques and Agile / Scrum Methodologies​
