POSITION SUMMARY:

Career Support Specialist is responsible for the assistance of securing employment for individuals with Developmental Disabilities/Intellectual Disabilities specifically for Discovery and Career Planning.

JOB TYPE: Part-time (20-40 hours per week)

LOCATION: Oahu

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities with discovery and career planning, job coaching and development
• Provide the knowledge and skills needed to get a job in a competitive, integrated employment market or be self-employed
• Duties will include: community research, individualized assessments, interviews, mentoring, record keeping, evaluations, trainings and transporting clients

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate Degree Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Children/behavioral support: 1 year (Preferred)
• Work Authorization: United States (Preferred)
