Performance Improvement Analyst - HRMC Clinical Quality Reporting
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is a remote role with the requirement of coming onsite as needed. Must live in Florida.
This role serves as the primary liaison to Quality, Clinical Leaders, and Hospital Operation leaders to facilitate continuous performance improvement in adherence with required Heart and Vascular Clinical Registries (CathPCI, STS Adult Cardiac Surgery, STS/ACC TVT, LAAO/Watchman and Vascular Quality Initiative).
The Performance Improvement Analyst will research best practices, procedures, and guidelines to improve the Hospital Division Heart and Vascular Registry performance compared to registry benchmarks. The PI Analyst will collaborate with registry abstractors to develop full knowledge of requirements to facilitate ongoing communications on performance to clinical and operational leadership. This role utilizes registry data to identify performance opportunities and actively participate in meetings, action plans, and process improvement development.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
QUALITY/NO HARM:
Proactively seeks opportunities to identify and reduce risk to the safety of patients.
Presents accurate and timely clinical data collection reports to appropriate QI committees or groups and facilitate opportunities for improvements
Serves as IDN expert in one or more regulatory programs or service line quality performance; conducting data visualization and analysis to meet TJC, CMS or other regulatory requirements.
Provide necessary data for clinical leadership achieve and maintain applicable Joint Commission Certifications.
Perform enhanced applicable Joint Commission tracers through the IDN, with timely feedback to leadership for successful surveys.
Maintains advanced quality database competency to facilitate continuous process improvement through documentation review.
Perform detailed monthly monitoring of Program or service line Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Collaborates in developing studies aimed at evaluating organizational programs. Collaborates in designing outcome measures
STEWARDSHIP:
Collaborates with clinical teams to identify opportunities for resource optimization; applies proficient LEAN methodology
Support the achievement of regulatory timeliness to avoid payment penalties and progression of quality-of-care goals to achieve Health First IDN Corporate Quality initiatives around top performance.
Proactively identifies opportunities in maximization of Midas+ Care Management system utilization and other quality data repositories or registries.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the end-user environment and systems and proactively seeks methods of improvement.

Serve as a resource in system-wide efforts to advance quality outcomes and best practice care.
Supports decisions through advanced analytics with a statistical, quality, and clinical outcomes emphasis

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a computer and perform typing skills using hand dexterity up to two hours at a time, 6 -8 hours per day
Ability to work flexible and/or long hours to see issues through to resolution
Ability to effectively communicate in person, via telephone, and using written methods
Must be able to bend and reach at all times
