Job Description
Our company is one of the largest healthcare administrative companies in California that provides back-office support for 73 nursing facilities across the state. We are growing fast and more acquisitions are coming. The company is currently in search of an internal auditor that fits into the culture of our working environment with the qualifications listed below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and approve company travel and expense reports.
- Audit and approve agency invoices and preparing it for payment processing
- Audit vendor invoices for fraud and over payment discrepancies
- Audit facility’s petty cash log for fraud or discrepancies
- Audit facility timecards to find time discrepancies
- Collaborate with Payroll team to help find ghost employees
- Collaborate with Compliance team on any issues and write a detail report of my findings
- Visit facilities to interview staff and collect documents
- Work on any ad hoc reports for upper management

JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Math, or related fields of study
- Detail-oriented
- Great communication skills

- Travels (facility visits)

- Experience in healthcare preferred (but not required)
