    Knox Bridges Masters Level Team Leader The Helen Ross McNabb Center (www.mcnabbcenter.org) is a premier not-for-profit provider of behavioral health services. The Center provides quality care and serves all ages in a continuum of prevention, early intervention, social, co-occurring, addiction, outpatient and crisis services. The Center is seeking motivated staff members that possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels and economic circumstances with respect and dignity. Excellent verbal, written and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies and community professionals, as well as, maintaining proper documentation. Clinical staff members must be able to take and pass without major modification a course in Handle with Care, which requires hands-on, physical components to ensure the safety of the clients and staff. Clinical staff members must possess reliable transportation, ability to acquire an F endorsement on driver's license and transport clients. HRMC is an EOE.     Job Requirements Education/Knowledge: Master's degree in Human Services or related field with coursework or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and mental retardation. Demonstrated knowledge and competency in mental health service provision and leadership. This position also requires that the employee has an F Endorsement on his/her Driver License to be available to transport individuals as needed. This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment. Experience: Must have course work and or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and mental retardation. One year experience preferred. Experience working with children is preferred although applicants may have other skills and experiences that could accommodate this position. This person will either posses experience or training in the Re-Education Philosophy or will acquire such training in the course of employment. Physical: Ability to effectively and ethically counsel children and families. Ability to present professionally and work within a team format to plan, implement, and evaluate successful interventions. Ability to effectively run and process groups with children and families. Ability to work within a team format to meet positive goals for children and interface with other agencies involved in the ecology of the family. Must be capable of assisting in utilizing non violent methods of crisis intervention including therapeutic holding. Must have mental ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure. Ability to exercise sound judgment and effective decision-making, ability to set and demonstrate appropriate boundaries, ability to be an empathic listener, flexibility, willingness, and adaptability to working with diverse populations. Must also have the ability to communicate effectively and possess good time management and organizational skills. Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal and physical descalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, running, and walking. Physical descalation techniques will only be implemented at Helen Ross McNabb Center facilities, and not in community settings. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Close eye work.     Job Summary Serves as the direct supervisor for a team of Master's Level Liaison Counselors. Interfaces with the school system and other agencies to increase cooperation and consistency between the home, school, and community. Provides administrative duties for The Bridges Program including caseload responsibilities, training of new staff members and continued staff development, monthly reporting in house and to the Knox County School System/Great Schools Partnership/UT, and the promotion of the program with outside agencies. Conducts administrative and clinical supervision to a team of school-based liaison counselors. The holder of this position will be required to do the following and other responsibilities as assigned by his/her direct supervisor: Serves as the primary clinician that provides counseling/liaison services to a predetermined number of children/youth and families in the Knox County School (KCS) System as part of the community school model. Works alongside KCS to identify and collaborate about mental health services to selected schools while providing linkage and coordination to appropriate services. Clinician provides weekly individual and family psycho-therapy to children and adolescents ages 4-21 with a mental health diagnosis. Clinician is to provide psycho-social assessments for clients and provides diagnosis and appropriate referrals for clients assessed, as needed. Clinician provides crisis intervention and emergency services as needed. Interfaces with the school system and other agencies to increase cooperation and consistency between home, school, and community The Bridges Master's Level Liaison provides information and referral, agency linkage, advocacy, home visits, and follow-up services. Treatment modalities used by Master's level clinicians providing therapy services include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Play Therapy. Functions as a member of a treatment team to plan, implement, and evaluate successful interventions for children and families. This individual will provide counseling activities that are adventure-based in nature and will lead group process and activities with identified children and youth as needed. The holder of this position will provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions including initiatives that encourage communication, trust building, and responsibility of actions and clinical process of all activities. The holder of this position will be required to do the following and other responsibilities as assigned by his/her direct supervisor: Conducts individual, family, and group counseling Provides advocacy, linkage, and referral services as needed Provides mental health assessments and evaluations Participates in treatment team meetings Participates in IEP and other school related meetings Provides parent training Maintains appropriate chart records Interfaces professionally with school personnel and other agencies Conducts group sessions with children and/or parents. Interfaces professionally with school personnel and provides therapeutic support Interacts with the Bridges Clinicians to coordinate scheduling of adventure-based groups and delivery of services. Clinician is present and ready to begin session at the appointment time, every session. b. Clinician calls to reschedule any sessions that he/she will be unable to attend or that the consumer missed or canceled 100% of the time. c. Clinician communicates accurate and thorough information to outside agencies 100% of the time when clients need different or more appropriate care that HRMC cannot provide. d. Ensures therapy contacts are completed each month, according to program standards. 1. Provides diagnostic Psycho-Social Assessments a. Clinician completes intakes and assessments within 5 business days of contact. b. Assessments will be completed in coordination with Assessment Team and Client Benefits as evidenced by communicating any issues concerning clients or assessment. c. Clinicians will provide intake coverage, as directed by supervisor. 1. Documentation requirements 1. Ensures all family and client participation in treatment planning as evidence by signatures on tx plans. 2. Communicates to supervisor if referrals become low in weekly supervisions. 3. Meet weekly with direct supervisor to discuss clinical and administrative concerns/ changes 4. Create and implement treatment interventions that are reflected in progress note documentation based on the treatment plan goals 5. Respond to all flags and e-mails within 2 business days 6. Respond to all voice mails within 30 minutes 7. Attend weekly/biweekly treatment teams with KCS personnel, as needed 8. Attend biweekly staffing meetings with team and supervisor. 9. Attend and participate in school based meetings with KCS personnel and community partners involved in the community schools. 1. Complete all required clinical documentation in accordance with Center Policy and Procedure and funding source guidelines. 1. Update treatment plans, crisis plans, consent to contact, consumer strengths assessments, DLA-20 and updated admissions signature page every 6 months 2. Completes intakes within 10 days of school referral, as applicable. 3. Complete and submit productivity II summaries to supervisor by the 5th business day of the month. 4. Complete intake treatment plans within 30 days of intake 5. Create daily progress notes and sign in EMR within one week of service provided 6. Submit all daily contact logs within one week of the occurrence. 7. Submit hand generated productivity to supervisor by the second working business day of the month. 2. Leadership 1. Provides administrative/clinical supervision to school based services liaison counselors 2. Complete and submit written documentation of verbal and written corrections pertaining to staff as needed 3. Complete current annual performances appraisals for Bridges Knox staff 4. Meet with supervisees on a weekly basis for clinical/admin supervision 5. Collects, compiles, and submits monthly productivity reports to direct supervisor by the 2nd business day of each month 6. Attends and is timely to weekly multi-disciplinary Team Mtgs 7. Develops and implements coverage for ct's when clinicians are out on leave. 8. If licensed, signing the non-licensed clinicians' treatment plans and being available for clinical consult 9. Fill vacancies with qualified candidates 10. Ensures update treatment plans, consumer strength assessments, crisis plans, consent to contact, releases, ROI, DLA-20 and updated admissions signature page every 6 months as evidence by quarterly quality record reviews for Bridges Knox clients. 11. Complete quarterly record reviews for Bridges Knox clients. 12. Implements a plan to ensure tracking system for Tx plans for all supervisees 13. Ensures 250-275 clients are served through BKC program on a monthly basis.
