Pass & ID/Registration Clerk Homeland Security Solutions, Inc. 54 reviews - San Diego, CA The HSSI SSP Pass and Identification/Registration Clerk is a full-time non-exempt employee responsible for providing services consistent with activities necessary for successfully registering vehicles, motorcycles, pets, bikes and weapons; issuing Department of Defense vehicle decals, and providing temporary passes for visitors entering the installation. The SSP Pass and Identification/Registration Clerk reports directly to the Homeland Security Solutions, Inc. (HSSI) Site Supervisor. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to use computer software applications including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point, databases and e-mail. * Possess excellent organizational and file management skills and the ability to plan and execute administrative work with little or no supervision. * Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. * Possess excellent typing abilities and the skill to prepare documents accurately with minimal errors. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and to maintain a calm and consistent demeanor at all times. * Ability to professionally interact with customers, colleagues and command members at all levels; and to foster positive business relationships. * Ability to learn job-related material primarily through oral instruction and observation or through on-the-job training. * Ability to work (mission essential) regardless of weather conditions, Force Protection Condition, or installation closure and to report to the duty station at the regularly scheduled time; work rotating shifts, work overtime on an emergency basis and other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and may be recalled to duty. * Ability to maintain sensitive files and documents and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
