    Addiction Recovery Technician Hopequest Ministry Group - Atlanta North, GA $11.00 - $11.30 an hour - Part-time RECOVERY TECH OPPORTUNITY. (MALE APPLICANTS ONLY) Currently hiring for a part-time (day-time, mid-shift), Recovery Tech position. Job entails ensuring constant client safety, accountability, encouragement, and faith based program coordination for male clients at a ASAM level III.5 residential addiction treatment facility. About Us: We are a 90-day residential facility that helps individuals that struggle from substance abuse, alcohol, and sexual addictions. We are located on a wooded serene property within the Woodstock, GA area. We provide intensive therapy for individuals with a faith based foundation, and an above reproach clinical team. We work as a team to insure richness and autonomy for individuals, helping them to see the hope and restoration for their journey ahead. Recovery Tech: The Recovery Technician (RT) provides services to clients who experiences behavioral and mental health illness. This includes providing group and/or individual training on a variety of topics including social skills, coping skills, self-management, and processes. Provides service to the individual and community that meets the needs of the individual client engaging in managing life skills and crisis prevention. Primary responsibilities Include: * Provide supervision/oversight to residents in the facility and create a safe living environment by monitoring residents throughout the shift. * Provide guidance and redirection to residents who are exhibiting inappropriate behavior. * Provide behavior management assistance in the classroom as needed. * Utilize crisis intervention techniques to assist a resident in gaining self-control if needed. * Acts as a learning coach by assistance in understanding and completing homework. * Performs housekeeping duties within the residence. * Provide shift report to include daily progress and activities of each resident to the incoming staff. * Participate in bi-monthly residential meetings and any other training that is required by the agency. * Complete all required documentation in a legible, professional manner. * Maintains records of residential progress and services performed, reporting changes in residential behavior to Program Director and assigned therapist. * Knowledgeable of agency policy and procedures and able to execute appropriately. * Adheres to HIPPA Regulations and maintains all resident confidentiality and required by law and HQ policy * Serves as a role model in carrying out the mission of the agency. * Assist and or provides transportation for residents to appointments and activities. * Assist with facilitating classes and activities if required throughout the shift. Required Education: BS or BA in a social science field perferred; Mental Health/Counseling/Human Services Other Requirements: A current drivers license; insurable driving record; and good references. Background check and drug testing will be required. At least (1) year experience in the Mental Health or Behavioral Health field.
