NFRMC is a 432-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving North Central Florida and offering comprehensive cardiovascular care , oncology , orthopedics , neurosciences , minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery , weight loss surgery and treatment , womens health and wound therapy , among other services. Position Summary: Assists Radiographers with general patient care, obtains clinical histories from charts, assists patients on and off table, assists with moving and positioning patients, assists with handling of film plates; uploads images into PACS verifying proper exposure parameters, clears dirty linen and puts clean on beds and stretchers, cleans rooms, makes entries into Meditech & PACS completing exam tracking and entering exam notes, performs clerical tasks as needed, assists with maintaining supplies, transports patients as is necessary. Position Requirements: EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: Ability to read, write and understand written and oral instructions. * Second year Radiology Student* EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: Must be in the second year of an approved Radiographer Program. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Basic knowledge of Radiography techniques, Demonstrated communications and customer service skills, success in organizing work, computer skills, and ability to multi-task.
