    Nurse Practitioner - PRN - ONSITE **Redmond Regional Medical Center **is a 230 bed facility, serving as a referral source for all of northwest Georgia and parts of Alabama. Making excellent medical care convenient and available is Redmonds first priority. Redmond offers a full service cardiology product line and is nationally recognized as a top cardiac care center. Other areas of excellence include emergency care, orthopedics, vascular care, oncology, an inpatient rehabilitation unit and more. We are currently seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner Onsite for one of our Local Corporate Partners. As anAdvanced Practice Nurse this role is responsible for comprehensive direct patient caremanagement. The NP manages clinicalservices to patients and exercises autonomous decision making; to act as a role model for care delivery and demonstrate WE CAREValues in all actions. This includes demonstrating excellent service behavior.__ Primary duties Administrative: Monitor and maintain employee health services and standards. Secondary duties Clinical: Provide treatment and/or care guidelines in a clinical setting for injuries, illnesses and emergencies. Evaluate employees for fitness for duty. Other duties include but are not limited to: Review all physical exams and lab findings for new/rehires, periodic/surveillances and executives assessing outcomes as required by company, state and federal mandated policy Document and monitor results of above to maintain required standards Evaluate and determine appropriate handling of significant findings/shifts Manage cases related to work environment/OSHA; interfacing with management Perform eye exams and clinical lab work when provided at the workplace Provide primary care for industrial injuries and illnesses at the workplace Evaluate/treat/refer non-industrial injuries and illnesses as clinic utilization permits Order tests, therapies and medication as necessary for patient care Review lab results of wellness program testing; inform/consult with participants Counsel and mediate potential violence in the workplace Assure standards of BBP are held Interface with other healthcare professionals, management and offsite agents Maintain detailed reports/files/records/inventory according to requirements set forth Provide assistance on special project needs Evaluate employees for the ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job KEY COMPETENCIES: Provide patient care with appropriate diagnosis and treatment Knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations Knowledge of ADA and disability standards Operate patient-care equipment and interpret results accurately Provide emergency care as outlined in the clinical guidelines set forth Dispense and administer medication Integrate applicable standards of care Documentation accurate, thorough reporting and notations Communication communicates clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing Customer orientation establishes and maintains long-term client relationships Interpersonal skills able to work professionally and effectively with coworkers, client employees and its agents Self Motivation demonstrates proficiency to set and achieve goals PC skills demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required Policies & Procedures demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
