Qualifications
** EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** ****
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical, hospital liaison, or process improvement role in a healthcare setting.
** KNOWELEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:**
- OPO Knowledge: Strong understanding of organ/tissue donation practices and related regulatory standards (CMS, AOPO, Joint Commission).
- Data Analysis : Ability to collect, analyze, and present data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships among variables. Familiarity with data analysis, dashboards and reporting tools.
- Process Improvement: Experience with performance improvement methodologies.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to critically think, solve problems, and work productively both independently and as a team participant. Skilled in active listening and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Clinical Skills : Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and pathology, ability to translate complex medical information into easily understandable language for families and staff to understand.
- Project Management Skills : Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and utilize time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Computer & Application Literacy: Proficiency Microsoft 365 suite, Learning Management Systems, TrueNorth, Slack as well as ability to navigate the internet.
- Team Building: Proven ability to collaborate with, work in and lead teams that produce results. ****
- Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrates the ability to understand, use and manage emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and diffuse conflict.
- Conflict resolution: Able to be present and pay attention in the moment, identify stress responses and triggers, cope and manage difficult emotions, speak mindfully and actively listen, maintain open communication, look for solutions and find agreement that benefits both sides to some extent.

- Regulated Processes and Systems : Ability to identify and interpret regulatory, business, and system requirements and then incorporate them into processes.

- Workload Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyze highly complex situations with multiple variables and make sound recommendations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Required to travel by personal vehicle to meet the duties and responsibilities of this position. Must maintain the requirements of an “eligible driver” including maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and required minimum personal automobile insurance per NEDS automobile policy.
