Job Summary The HR Coordinator coordinates and performs moderately complex administrative support to the HR and Employee Health departments. Serves as first point of contact for visitors, applicants, managers, and employees, responding to questions pertaining to employment, benefits, employee health, and routine HR policies and procedures. SERVICE- 35% -Responds to questions related to employment, benefits, payroll, employee health, HR policies and procedures which may involve highly confidential information. -Provides administrative support to Director and other HR/Employee Health Team members of low to moderate complexity. -Prepares employee communications, news letter articles, flyers, and other notices. QUALITY/SAFETY- 15% -Ensures compliance of applicant data and personnel files in accordance with HR policies. -Acts as a backup to the HR Specialist to perform background check, badge processing and onboarding of new applicants. -Must be knowledgeable of where to access information both in the department and within the institution to support the department. FINANCE- 5% -Maintains and monitors inventory of office supplies. Prepares purchase requests and invoices for accounts payable. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS One year of administrative support experience in Human Resources or other area of moderate complexity, where Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access were utilized in a fast paced environment.
