    Janssen Research & Development, L.L.C, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies is recruiting for an Immunology R&D Summer Intern for our Spring House, PA location. A virtual internship may be an option.

    The Immunology Pediatric Development Team (PDT) is looking for a highly motivated, innovative, self-starter for its 2023 intern program. We offer an exciting immersive summer internship experience for an individual who is passionate about exploring a career in clinical research. The internship will focus on supporting the start-up and execution of pediatric clinical trials in inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). This internship is a hands-on experience, working with the clinical team and developing scientific skills to build a strong foundation for a future career in clinical research.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct day-to-day activities related to the execution of ongoing pediatric clinical trials.

    • Assist with the review of clinical data and safety monitoring of pediatric clinical trials.

    • Use creative problem solving skills to develop informational guides and study forms for new Clinicals trials.

    • Participate in the preparations for a database lock, and regulatory and clinical study documents.

    EDUCATION:

    • Have a Bachelor's degree and be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing an advanced clinical degree (e.g., MS, RN, NP, RD, PharmD or pre-med) is preferred. A rising senior with previous clinical research experience may be considered.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    REQUIRED:

    • Clinical research or relevant research experience

    • Work individually (independently) as well as on a team

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.

    • Display proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.

    • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is strongly preferred

    PREFERRED:

    • Strong organizational skills,

    • Knowledge of medical terminology
