INSTRUMENTS TEST ENGINEERING (SUMMER 2020) INTERN - AURIS

OVERVIEW:
The Instruments R&D Test Engineering intern will support the instruments team in developing and testing novel electromechanical medical devices for use with Auris’ robotic platform.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are flexible Monday through Friday, generally 8-8:30 a.m. to 5-5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Aside from basic office equipment, the engineering lab contains specialized test equipment and materials.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear in moderately loud environments and operate machinery and test equipment.
