The Idaho Youth Ranch Development & Marketing team is seeking an amazing new teammate to join us. We are looking for someone with a passion for kids, an eye for detail, a commitment to relationship building, and a willingness to jump in and get the job done. As our Development Assistant some of the many things you will do include (see the job description for more): o Be the hub for our team, keeping us organized, working together and on track. o Create a best-in-class donor experience through donation follow-up including prompt thank you letters & receipts, thank you notes and new donor welcome packets. o Build strong relationships with existing donors & prospective donors, responding to their requests efficiently and updating them about how their support is making a huge impact on kids’ lives. o Be the face and voice of the Development Dept; greeting guests, routing calls and maintaining crucial and confidential donor data(using Salesforce) So, who are we? Must Haves: o High School Diploma or equivalent o Strong verbal and written communication skills o Heightened proficiency in spelling and grammar. o Excellent record keeping and associated software skills (i.e. Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and database programs o Must respect confidentiality of donors and other sensitive information relevant to the Department of Development o Comply with fundraising ethical standards Preferred: o 3 to 5 years experience in providing administrative support, preferably in support of fund-raising activities o Associates or Bachelor degree.
