    Organization: Care to Stay Home Reports To: Care Manager Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (may vary) On-Call: Nights & weekends approximately 1 time every 6–8 weeks Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications

    Care to Stay Home is seeking a highly professional, clinically competent Assistant Care Manager who is deeply committed to developing caregivers and upholding excellence in home care.

You will serve as both an educator and a leader—ensuring caregivers are not only trained, but truly prepared to deliver compassionate, skilled, and reliable care.

    The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical foundation (LPN preferred/MA or NAC required), a dedication to teaching and mentorship, and a personal standard of professionalism that positively influences those around them.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Caregiver Training & Development

    Lead and deliver structured, high-quality training for new caregivers with professionalism and clarity

    Provide instruction in personal care, infection control, safety protocols, mobility assistance, and documentation standards

    Set clear expectations for performance, professionalism, and accountability in the field

    Conduct hands-on skills validation and provide direct, constructive coaching to ensure caregiver competency

    Serve as a role model for professionalism, communication, and client-centered care

    Support ongoing education and ensure compliance with Washington State and HCA training requirements

    Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready training documentation

    Care Management Support

    Assist in the development and oversight of individualized care plans with attention to detail and quality outcomes

    Support coordination between clients, families, and caregivers with a focus on clear, professional communication

    Conduct caregiver check-ins and performance follow-ups to reinforce expectations and address gaps

    Participate in client assessments and reassessments as appropriate

    Address service concerns with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment

    Assist with documentation audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance

    Operational & On-Call Support

    Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately every 6–8 weeks)

    Respond to urgent situations with composure, professionalism, and decisive action

    Support scheduling adjustments and ensure continuity of care during on-call periods

    Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs, performance trends, and operational improvements

    Qualifications:

    Required

    Active LPN license in good standing or equivalent clinical training and experience

    Experience in home care, private duty, or community-based care

    Demonstrated experience in caregiver training, mentoring, or staff development

    Excellent communication skills with a high level of professionalism

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Preferred

    Knowledge of Washington State HCA requirements and home care regulations

    Experience conducting competency evaluations and skills assessments

    Background in quality assurance or compliance within home care

    Work Environment

    This role operates in a professional office setting with regular travel to client homes for training, assessments, and field support. Success in this role requires flexibility, initiative, and a consistent commitment to excellence.
