    Coordinator-Quality Data (RN) Requisition Number 246258 Department Quality 310144 Schedule Active Part Time Shift Days Hours Days; 48 hours every two weeks Job Details Associates Degree Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required This position facilitates the analysis of quality and performance improvement data for the organization through coordination of information including data collection, analysis and trending of required regulatory indicators, medical staff quality and peer review activities, external agency review and other select clinical outcome measurements. This position requires constant concern for the valid and reliable data to be delivered for appropriate clinical decision support. QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES * CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred, recommended within 3 years of hire Requires current license as Registered Nurse * Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program through Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) required as a minimum. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred. * Newly hired ASN RNs starting employment on/after January 1, 2014 will be required to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing within five (5) years from date of hire into this job. * Requires at least three years? experience in a clinical setting. * Requires knowledge of clinical progression in medical and surgical patients. * Requires ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team. * Requires data management; basic statistical analyses; and presentation skills Requires the ability to interpret clinical data. * Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills. * Requires critical thinking skills. * Requires ability to work independently and in work teams Requires ability to track and perform multiple tasks. * Requires ability to manage several assignments simultaneously and appropriately prioritize based on deadlines Requires knowledge of computer and software applications. Experience in performance improvement methodologies; quality measurement; and data analysis using statistical principles is preferred. * Requires good strong public speaking skills and ability to deliver effective presentations and educations to large groups of physicians and staff.
