    Job Description

    NOW LOOKING FOR A QUALIFIED ARNP, OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - CERTIFIED TO WORK AT OUR THE HOLY FAMILY OUTPATIENT BASED IMAGING CENTER IN SPOKANE, WA. THIS POSITION IS A FULL TIME, REGULAR POSITION WORKING MONDAY-FRIDAY DAY SHIFT.

    PAY RANGE: $114,265.10-$171,397.65 (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND INTERNAL EQUITY)

    THIS POSITION WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST COVID AND OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES (I.E. MMR, VARICELLA, ETC.) OR QUALIFY FOR A MEDICAL/RELIGIOUS EXEMPTION TO WORK IN A HEALTHCARE SETTING

    SUMMARY: To obtain the highest quality radiological exams under the direct or indirect supervision of a radiologist per established Inland Imaging guidelines and protocols.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The APP must be able to: work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment in meeting continual deadlines; handle multiple priorities in busy clinics/hospital with constant interruptions; be highly organized to meet deadlines. Interactions with radiologists, other departments within Inland Imaging, patients and family members and outside contacts is key. Must have excellent written, verbal and personal communication skills; be tactful and diplomatic; and be highly confidential. Must make decisions regarding daily work priorities, and other decisions based on company policies and procedures.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Works independently using his or her best professional judgment while practicing medicine within his or her scope of practice with physician supervision. Works interdependently with other health care providers and health care staff in a team environment.
    • Consults with and coordinates patient care with practice physicians, referring provider community, other specialists, pharmacists, nurses, or other health care professionals as appropriate. Perform history and physicals, and discharge summaries.
    • Perform clinical exams/procedures within the scope of practice.
    • Perform general radiographic exams; See attached sheet.
    • Administer oral and IV contrast for radiographic exams as directed by protocol and/or the radiologist. Monitor patient for contrast reaction.
    • Determine need for patient sedation and write clinically appropriate sedation orders.
    • Coordinate patient care between radiologist and technical staff to facilitate a smooth workflow.
    • Review images with technical staff and radiologist to provide optimal patient care.
    • Rotate to other shifts and locations as needed.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • There is little or no supervisory responsibility in this position

    • Performs other duties as required by displaying team spirit and self-growth, accepting and performing other projects and responsibilities, and requesting other projects and responsibilities.

    • Attendance is required for this position.

    • Attends and provides input on multiple committees for both Inland Imaging and Providence Services.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Education: Completed an advanced formal education program

    • Licensed as a PA-C or ARNP in the State of Washington

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

    • Ability to learn new computer applications and utilize in the work environment

    • Ability to consider individual needs in communication with and assessment and treatment of patients of all ages

    • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS required

    • Computer Skills: Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Outlook; Kronos; Replicon; Imagecast; Stentor; IDXterm; Flowcast; Allscripts; Web Portals

    • Background Check:

      • Must be able to pass a background check required by RCW 43.43.830-840 to work with children under the age of 16, developmentally disabled persons or vulnerable adults
      • In order to comply with provisions set forth in Sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act, all new employees of Inland Imaging, LLC will be checked against the LIST OF EXCLUDED INDIVIDUALS provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG). Employees must not be included on this list.
