Help Desk Specialist - Seattle Inland Imaging 12 reviews - Spokane, WA 99202 Job Description: The Help Desk position will be full time position, typically working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Summary : Acknowledge all incoming calls, emails, and support requests according to service level agreements. Collect detailed information while troubleshooting highly complex application issues, and resolving or escalating as needed. Perform various maintenance functions required to maintain a functional large-scale environment. General Description : The Help Desk Specialist must be able to work effectively and efficiently to identify and resolve multiple high priority issues in a fast paced office environment with constant interruptions and continual deadlines. This position must demonstrate professionalism to the client in order to positively affect customers impression of our support. The applicant must have excellent communication skills, be able to think critically under pressure, and deliver results effectively. Contribute to the system maintenance and appropriate technical documentation. Monitor for trends in clinical applications issues to ensure systems are running at optimal performance. Develop and maintain fundamental knowledge of clinical applications functionality, and workflow Maintain understanding of HealthCare integration standards, such as HL7, DICOM, XML, and HTML. Maintain knowledge of IT standards as they relate to RIS and PACS architecture. Demonstrate application functionality to appropriate personnel. Provide remote support for all projects and application deployments. Collaborate with the Healthcare Solutions Team to ensure the overall success of upgrades. Customer Advocacy : Treat all clients with dignity and respect while providing excellent customer service. Strive to build relationships with internal and external customer base. Conform to Joint Commission and HIPAA regulations. Comply with PHI (Protected Health Information). Qualifications and Experience: Education : Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience Experience: Two years of related experience including- Technical helpdesk experience preferred Experience with PC, Network and Microsoft Technology Experience with healthcare applications preferred Knowledge of PC Hardware/Software engineering Knowledge in software and image creation/deployment via 3rd party software (Altiris, Ghost, etc.) and scripting. Desired Experience: One year of experience in supporting a radiology information system. One year of experience in supporting a picture archiving communication system. One year of experience in supporting a voice recognition application. One year of experience in Radiology workflow such as RIS, PACS, or EMR/EHR One year of experience managing IT implementation projects/applications. Computer Skills : Experience with the following computer applications is highly desired: Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio); Internet, Intranet Drug Test: Eligible employees must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test which includes marijuana.
