In addition, all five Inova hospitals have been awarded either a regional or specialty ranking this year.The Senior Epic Certified Systems Analyst Implements and maintains Epic and other clinical applications. Incorporates technical expertise to ensure optimal outcomes. Serves as a technical expert in multiple Epic Modules (Welcome module and at least one of the following Epic modules: Prelude, RTE, Cadence, Referrals, Grand Central). Maintains certification requirements. Follows standards for technical practice. Consistently incorporates a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional approach to analysis and problem solving. Ensures the Electronic Health record database is maintained correctly to prevent the loss or corruption of data. Manages integrated testing and meets project build deadlines. Meets service level agreements for Incident closure and Change requests. Communicates project and team status to internal and external audiences including operational teams, vendors, executive sponsors, etc. Serves in an "on-call" capacity on a rotating basis.Requirements Minimum Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years as systems analyst or equivalent experience. Lab experience is needed. Certification in appropriate EpicCare Module(s). Education: Bachelor's degree or an additional 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Training: Robust systems analysis and design experience. Certification: EpicCare Certification/ Proficiency in appropriate module(s) within 6 months of hire to configure system. Special Skills: Information Technology related project management and computer skills (Microsoft Office) required. Verbal and written communication skills, technical knowledge of coordinating, configuring and building healthcare IT to drive quality improvement goals.
