PLM Consultant (Functional)

Job Title: Principal Consultant – Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

We are looking for a functional PLM consultant with 2-5 years of relevant experience in PLM, as well as applicable hands-on industry experience. Familiarity with PLM solutions such as Agile, Arena, or Windchill. Must be able to work in a fast-paced consulting environment with the goal of delivering high-value solutions to our esteemed customers globally across a diverse set of verticals.

Consultant will be configuring Propel PLM solution that is built 100% on the Salesforce platform. Prior knowledge of Salesforce platform is a valuable asset.

Travel Required: 25-50%

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment in order to implement PLM and related products and technology to meet customer needs.
• Operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
• Demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
• Effectively consult with management of customer organizations.
• Gain client acceptance of the defined solution.
• Fully comprehend client requirements and translate them into implementable solutions.
• Participate in and/or support business development activities.
• Learn and execute based on the Inspirage implementation methodology.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Experienced and knowledgeable in PLM product, product functionality and related family of products. Product Hierarchies, Bills of Material, Change Management, Quality Management and relationship(s) to CAD and ERP desired.
• An understanding of solutions, business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family
• 2-5 years of experience relevant to this position—required
• 1-3 years of consulting experience--preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience
