We are expanding our Miami Lakes, FL and looking for: Support Center Specialist Job Summary: The Support Center Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing mail, internal and external to the organization, as detailed below. This includes the timely scanning of incoming documents that need to be worked by other departments. The Support Center Specialist is to follow all policies and procedures as outlined by the company, governmental regulations, and HIPAA regulations. Position reports to: Assistant Manager Responsibilities: * Sort and distribute or scan incoming mail: o Returned mail o Patient correspondence o Insurance correspondence o Other. * Print HCFAs/EOBs/other attachments from IMX and prepare/mail. * Receive, process and distribution of incoming Mail, shipments and deliveries of packages for the office. * Ability to setup UPS, FedEx and other shipments via the internet. * Processing and distribution of Outgoing Mail as well as Inter-office Mail including receiving and distributing faxes and other documents to the different regions and departments. * Adheres to all HIPPA and company Compliance Regulations. * Assists with special operation projects and tasks assigned by Manager. * Inventory and quality control. * Data entry and claims projects. * Complete various projects as assigned by management. * Assist with other team member processing areas as directed by management. * Communicate trends and opportunities for improvement to regional management. * Compliance with Intermedix policies * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * 0-1 years of experience * High School Diploma or GED * Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards Skills/ Knowledge Requirements: * Basic computer operating skills. * Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. * Highly self-motivated and directed. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. * Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. * Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
