    Janssen Research & Development, LLC is recruiting for a Co-op intern, Analytical Development - Cell & Gene Therapy, located in Malvern, PA.Co-op intern, Analytical Development - Cell & Gene Therapy will support the development of analytical test methods in support of characterization, release and stability testing of cell therapies, viral vectors, and oncolytic viruses.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supports Cell &Gene therapy teams
    • Work in a team environment as well as contributing individually to meet project timelines and objectives
    • Conduct the compilation and analysis of the test results
    • Support cell therapies and viral-based therapeutics and gene delivery technologies
    • Review protocols and reports
    • Perform and coordinate testing to support manufacturing process development, process validations, and manufacturing investigations
    • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements
    • Makes a positive contribution to the organization, seeks opportunities for improvement.

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • Biology, Molecular biology, and Microbiology in Major is required.
    • Expertise required/desired: Proficiency in sterile lab techniques including cell culture.
    • Data analysis, PCR or other molecular biology technique will be required.

    Preferred:

    • A working knowledge of cellular biology and/or immunology is preferred.
    • Prior experience with transfection methods and bio-chemical assays would be an added benefit.
