    Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (JJHCS), a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for Enterprise Contract Management (ECM) Interns located in Piscataway, NJ or Horsham PA.

    Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises. Enterprise Contract Management is an essential division of JJHCS and is responsible for a wide breath of areas within the contracting life cycle: Contract Operations, Customer Solutions Center, and Contract Development.

    The Contract Inquiry Support Team (CIS) is responsible for the review and resolution of inquiries from indirect customers and targeted strategic IDN accounts, as well as the creation and maintenance of IDN and Coalition rosters. CIS provides answers to contract-related inquiries generated by our direct and indirect customers along with business partners. This team also seeks to improve synchronization of contract price and eligibility, resolves customer price and eligibility discrepancies, supports contracting and roster process improvements.

    As an Intern, you will be responsible for delivering resolution on inquires while also supporting internal business partners and our customers. Additional responsibilities may include supporting operational execution, process improvements, and strategic collaboration with our operating company franchise partners and other Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (JJHCS) departments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with our indirect team and direct members to support customers while reporting out key findings and recommendations.
    • Become a subject matter expert on the systems, mailboxes, and processes used by CIS team to better understand the E2E business model.
    • Take ownership of inquires with a goal to interpret these inquires, run appropriate reports, and close out inquiries in satisfactory manner.
    • Participate in ad-hoc projects to support key base business, new process improvements & implementations.
    • Work in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to identify common root causes and support solutions that increase efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
    • Demonstrate the ability to consolidate and present information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Utilize multiple systems (ICS, MDM, CORE, Salesforce.com, HPE, etc.) to successfully manage workload on a timely basis, within expected SLA and deadlines.
    • Continue to add value to yourself, J&J, and the customer by increasing competencies through training and team engagement.
    • Understand overall J&J structure and how ECM fits into business objectives.
    • Understand the Credo and how J&J promotes living the Credo.
    • Prepare and present report out to leadership to summarize internship milestones and achievements.
    • Be part of a structured program, with mentoring, visibility to senior leadership, professional training, and networking opportunities.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program is required.
    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is strongly preferred.

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • Strong analytical skills, and a proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently within a matrix environment where tight timelines exist.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives, while maintaining a strong sense of urgency is required.
    • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Must be willing and able to work on a full-time basis for three months.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    Other:

    • Location & Travel Required: Based in Raritan, NJ, with up to 5% domestic travel, and occasional travel to New Brunswick, NJ, and Titusville, NJ
