Overall Purpose Of The Job Together with the Director of Communications, Government Services-US/TRICARE, the Communications Specialist will help develop targeted communications programs to help educate and inform key constituents, internally and externally, about International SOS Government Services-US and our role in administering the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) and other contracts. This includes developing case studies, product information sheets, presentations, award nominations, e-blasts, advertising, web-based education sessions, website content management system updates, and other communications related to our Government Services-US business. The Communications Specialist will coordinate industry sponsorships, tradeshows/conferences and events, and maintain the Marketing Communications budget, including processing all purchase requests, price justification sheets, and tracking expenditures against the approved FY budget. The Communications Specialist will deliver expert communications support for existing and newly awarded Government Services-US programs, assisting in the areas of employee engagement and retention, change management, Government Relations and Public Affairs, and client-facing communications for key internal and external constituents, with additional duties as assigned. The Communications Specialist will be a key member of the Government Services-US Communications Team, working closely with the Communications Director, Government Services-US/TRICARE, Global Provider Communications Manager, Provider Education Project Manager, and TOP Communications Assistant. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to overall strategy development and tactical execution of communications initiatives designed to benefit service delivery and performance against key contract deliverables. The Communications Specialist will work collaboratively with other members of the Government Services-US Communications Team as well as with marketing peers from the Americas Region and Group Marketing. B. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop targeted internal- and external-facing communications, as directed. * Develop branded templates for standard operating procedures, business policies and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reports. * Manage web content updates and message development, using the Sitecore content management system (CMS). * Develop and implement a robust web-based education program for regional program management and beneficiary education service representatives, across global time zones. * Write and produce professional case studies, including conducting initial interviews and interfacing with key medical and operations staff to understand key challenges, solutions, and differentiators that contributed to successful case management and service delivery. * Coordinate Government Services-US participation in industry sponsorships, tradeshows/conferences, events, and award nominations * Collaborate with senior leadership and regional program management, medical, operations, and other cross-functional staff to develop compelling presentations for internal and external audiences. * Assist in the creation of display advertisements for a variety of forums, events, and other industry-facing communications. * Solicit global and regional staff for photos, summaries, trip reports, and engagement summaries for employee newsletters and InSite articles. * Review contract modifications and policy changes to help assess potential impact on communications for internal and external audiences. * Coordinate tradeshow participation, including exhibit and display, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and other business development initiatives, as identified. * Work with Human Resources and the Leadership Committee to develop branded templates and other communications tools to promote employee engagement, retention, and interest. * Contribute and maintain content updates on SharePoint and InSite to help facilitate internal camaraderie and open communication. * Maintain the Marketing Communications budget, tracking against FY approved expenses. * Oversee client/prospect giveaway procurements. * Other duties and tasks, as assigned. Job Profile Required Skills and Knowledge * Exceptional and proven organizational, project management, creative design/layout, and administrative oversight skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Sets high standards for quality and quantity/output; works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way; intensive attention to detail and emphasis on right first time to optimize productivity and ensure satisfaction among all constituents. * Proficient with the full suite of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Visio. * Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially In Design, Illustrator, and Photo Shop considered a plus. * Competence with Sitecore Content Management System (CMS) or similar web publishing and HTML-based CMS programs preferable.
