The Administrator is responsible for the general management of more than one provider/agency in a geographical region including clinical, operations and support functions. This position is also accountable for the financial and operational performance and overall business development of the agencies. This role oversees implementation, maintenance and compliance with the Performance Improvement activities; including the Corporate Compliance Program, leads the care agency Professional Advisory Board and acts as the Privacy Officer. Responsibilities As a Administrator you will provide leadership and assume ultimate responsibility for meeting agency operations and client needs in accordance with Intrepid mission and strategic business plans. Additional duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Provides general management to the agencies including direction and oversight of all operational and clinical activities to achieve goals and objectives in multiple sites Directs and controls the application of all regulations, including but not limited to Federal, State and company policy to guarantee that all agencies are managed in an efficient & effective manner Responsible for assuring implementation of directions of the governing body and organizing and directing the ongoing functions of the agency in compliance with Federal and State regulations in agencies Plans and assures adherence to budgetary guidelines and exercises appropriate expense control management in agency offices Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations and standards of practice in agencies Knowledge of current regulatory standards, Conditions of Participation and others as appropriate Complies with Medicare, Medicaid and State license requirements Complies with Intrepids Quality Assurance monitors and Performance Improvement Plan Directs and supervises administrators to review documentation for necessity of services, quality care and compliance with physician orders and the plan of care to ensure quality care and reimbursement Coordinate internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including monthly, quarterly and annual audits as required for agencies Develops, analyzes and trends agencies financial plans/reports for market and meets annual operating budget Assures community education and awareness programs based on regional growth plan Assures systematic follow-up on referral source feedback, liaison activity and agency quality service measurements Guides development and implementation of new programs to enhance competitive strength and increase market share Responsible for the development and execution of business plans with appropriate execution to assure growth Sets clear and appropriate expectations to direct reports and gives feedback to meet those expectations Oversees agency management functions including staffing, performance reviews and disciplinary actions Qualifications Specific qualifications for this Administrator role include: Education: Degree in nursing, health services administration, business administration or related field Experience : Minimum of three (3) years in administrative management experience in healthcare, with a proven ability of demonstrating management and leadership expertise. Also a minimum of two (2) years experience in care and/or supplemental staffing is required.
