Key Responsibilities:

• Brainstorming, planning, and executing key JJMT proactive and reactive media relations strategies
• Supports development of content regarding J&J MedTech business strategy/vision, including core messaging materials (presentations, talking points, message maps, media fact sheets, digital content, etc.)
• Digests complicated matters and technology to help boil them down to key messages and actionable insights
• Research trends in media and healthcare to inform the team's decision making
• Manage databases (e.g. awards, media tracking) to share insight across the J&J MedTech franchises and report out team productivity
• Identify new ways of working to improve workplace efficiency

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, critical thinking and writing skills is required
• Natural collaborator: someone able to appreciate and incorporate feedback from several colleagues and create a unified work product
• Demonstrates an interest in some mix of media relations, digital and social media, and government relations/public affairs
• Shows a strong understanding of social media and a commitment to the digital space; able to work collaboratively with our social and digital team to promote key initiatives
• Displays excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills and an ability to communicate with a diverse group of people and audiences
