We’re Hiring:

• Registered Nurses (RNs) – Inpatient and Outpatient
• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Respiratory Therapists (RTs)
• Environmental Services Specialists (EVS)

New grads are welcome!
Preferred: ~4 years of experience

Qualifications

FOR REGISTERED NURSES:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
• Pediatric, PICU & NICU experience preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois
• Growth and Development, Family Centered Philosophy
• CPR required. Only certifications issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross will be accepted

FOR CNAs

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalency (GED)
• Related Work Experience: Related childcare experience preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Nursing Assistant Illinois Certificate required.
• Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Ability to work with children and families.
• CPR required. Only certifications issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross will be accepted.

FOR RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS

• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved program of Respiratory Care education
• Familiarity with the concepts and performance of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation management, inhaled medication administration, airway clearance administration, blood gas analysis, noninvasive monitoring, tracheostomy tube and tie exchange, etc. in a pediatric setting
• CRT required; RRT preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred, but must obtain prior or within 6 months of employment
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Preferred
• Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation (IDPFR) Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required
• Pediatrics experience required
• Good verbal communication skills
• CPR required; Only certifications issued by the American Heart Association will be accepted

FOR EVS:

• High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
• Prefer two to three years experience in health care environmental service / linen work
• Required to read, write, and speak English
