Create behavioral improvement plans with children, families and all involved parties. Coordinate and collaborate with all JFCS services. Coach and assist the behavior coaches with strategies and suggestions for improved behavior modification. Provides clinical services such as direct therapy, which includes individual and family. Provides case management/coordination services, which includes coordination of services within the JFCS team members, such as medical, but also often involving other systems such as DCS, DDD and/or Probation/Parole. These services will be community based, clients home, school or other community locations. Uses clinical best practices to engage formal and informal resources for the client including the transition, discharge and aftercare plans of behavioral health services. Demonstrates positive, strengths-based attitude of teamwork and shared leadership. All services to be provided in the most appropriate setting which includes in office, in-home, in school or other appropriate location in accordance with Arizonas 12 principles. Assesses and recognizes risk and utilizes supervisory consultation as appropriate. Completes all appropriate documentation, including progress notes, contact notes, BHSP, Crisis Plans, etc. Completion of clinical screens to evaluate risk levels and medical conditions. Ensures all services are clinically necessary and are documented as such within outlined timeframes at least 95% of the time.Communicates with the existing JFCS treatment teams on progress and/or regression and ability to brainstorm alternative strategies and approaches for behavior modification. Provides clinical oversight for the coordination of behavioral health services with other agencies, such as Department of Child Safety, Probation and Parole Departments, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Arizona Long Term Care, schools, and other providers. Acquaints the agency with community trends and identifies gaps in specific services as indicated by clients needs. Assesses and recognizes risk and utilizes supervisory consultation as appropriate. Completes all agency documentation in a timely manner (within 24 hours).Prepares required reports, inclusive of incident reports, etc. Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited school in the field of social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field. Prefer license. Two years work experience in a behavioral health field preferred.Minimum two years work experience post Masters in a behavioral health field.Credentialed & Privileged by the RBHA or relevant licensing board. Ability to maintain licensing and DPS fingerprint clearance.
