    Ethicon Supply Chain is recruiting for a Data & Digital Capabilities Leader, Ethicon Supply Chain located in Raritan, NJ or another J&J site in NA, EMEA, or LATAM. Remote work options in the US will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the Company. This role is responsible for the execution and acceleration of our Data Strategy and Digital Capabilities, which is foundational to the success of how the Ethicon Digital Transformation can drive value for the business. He/she will play a central role in the coordination of data into the Common Data Layer, partnering closely with JJT (Johnson & Johnson Technology), D&DS (Digital & Data Science), and MedTech Digital. This person will be a member of the Ethicon Digital Strategy Transformation Leadership team and the Ethicon Digital Council. Major Duties & Responsibilities: Data Strategy

    • Lead overall execution of the Ethicon data strategy into the CDL (intake & prioritization of data requirements, data delivery needs, consumption, costs, etc.).
    • Work with business partners to understand data profile and identify sources, then translate those needs to technical partners in JJT and D&DS.
    • Develop strategy to digitize and ingest manual data across Ethicon & partner closely with key stakeholders on execution of that strategy.
    • Develop short & long term roadmaps to drive delivery of milestones for the Common Data Layer (CDL) that will feed BP and LRFP processes.
    • Identify sources of non-traditional data that will drive insights across Ethicon.
    • Provide data input for digital solutions that are being launched across Ethicon.
    • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.

    Digital Capabilities

    • Translate unstructured, complex business problems into the appropriate data problems and partner with D&DS, Digital Product Owners, and JJT to develop digital products that drive value for Ethicon.
    • Define the optimal mix of strategic data science investments to support business objectives.
    • Advance digital best practices & methodology across the organization to drive talent strategy to upskill internal talent.
    • Stay updated on digital trends and cloud strategies to advance on the Ethicon Digital transformation.

    QUALIFICATIONS Education:

    • A Bachelor's degree is required and a focus in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or another technical major is preferred.
    • MS in Operations Research, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Quantitative MBA is preferred.

    Experience and Skills: Required:

    • 8 years of experience in multiple supply chain functions or related fields is required.
    • Business acuity in emerging digital technologies and their implications for the supply chain operations is required (these include cloud computing, big data, IoT, AI/ML, RPA, blockchain, intelligent automation, virtual and augmented reality, etc.) is preferred.
    • Knowledge and strong technical competence in machine learning, statistics, data mining or related field is required.
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure & Databricks environment is preferred.
    • Demonstrated expertise in bridging technical and business disciplines and hands on experience with operationalization of advanced machine learning analytics with track record of success and proven outcomes is required.
    • Solid acumen in digital technologies and their implications for the supply chain operations is required is required.
    • Solid understanding of BI and data solutions, including Power Pivot, cubes, data warehouse, and data marts is required.
    • Experience with data visualization and presentation (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.) is preferred.
    • Ability to understand, shape, and measure the business value of solutions, while managing competing stakeholder priorities and ambiguity is required.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, problem solve, and deliver the maximum business value is required.
    • Ability to build strong networks and manage stakeholder expectations across the business at all levels is required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
    • Up to 10% travel may be required.
