Johnson & Johnson Technology Services (JJTS) is recruiting for a ServiceNow Platform Senior Architect/Developer. The ideal location is Raritan, NJ. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company. The anticipated pay range for this role is $97,000-$166,5750. The ServiceNow Platform Architect is a key leader in the Scrum team which owns the ServiceNow platform for IT and SecOps at Johnson & Johnson. This is a technical position where the individual must have an in-depth understanding of the technologies which make up a very large ServiceNow platform. Required skills include large-scale use of ServiceNow Business Rules, Script Includes, Client-scripts, UI Policies. The job also includes some of the most current and relevant technologies in the market, including Web AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap. Beyond the exciting technology, this individual will also have the opportunity to work directly with the business stakeholders to craft global technology solutions for IT Service Management. They may also need to create and/or review exciting data integrations between ServiceNow and other ground breaking J&J systems such as mobile phones, Amazon Web Services, Azure, and large-scale VMWare vSphere clusters. And finally, this individual will have the opportunity to work on future-looking R&D such at chatbot integration, Natural Language Processing, and integration with large-scale Cloud Management platforms (AWS and VMWare vSphere). • Responsible for the design and development of sophisticated ServiceNow solutions. This involves taking requirements from Business Owners, and crafting fast, efficient, and large-scale solutions. You will need to balance business needs vs customization controls vs speed/scale.

• Keen sense on how to carefully customize a large-scale ServiceNow Platform. Your recommendations on critical customizations will set the tone and design of our large ITSM system for years to come.

• Lead ServiceNow upgrades / development efforts and provide direct guidance to team.

• Drive continuous improvements of implementation methodology

• Independently navigate the ambiguity of conflicting high-priority needs from a diverse set of clients, and arrive at a no-nonsense, cohesive design.

• Stay abreast of all new ServiceNow platform developments, new releases, features and functions.

• Ensure all technical and functional work meet the vital quality standards before it reaches production.

• Design of modern web solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• A 4-year college degree is required. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Required Experience:

• 8 years of proven experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge ServiceNow Software Development Best Practices.
• Experience with a modern object-oriented programming language JavaScript is desired; however, will also accept Objective-C, C#, Java, Swift, Python 3, etc.
• Certification in ServiceNow.
• Good interpersonal skills for written, oral, and face-to-face communications

Preferred Skills:

• Strongly prefer experience with all aspects of ServiceNow Database design principles, performance and user experience design.
• Experience with ITIL processes.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms.
• Experience with the CSDM.
• Experience with shell programming.
• Experience with modern web integration protocols.
• Exposure to portable data structures.
• Code versioning control systems experience.
• Experience with intelligent editors.
• Experience with Data Analytics.
• Familiarity with Software Development methodology; preferably Agile.
• Knowledge of testing methodology including automated testing tools.
• Familiarity in working with offshore resources in other time zones.
• Prefer Certification in ServiceNow System Administration, Application Development, and Scripting.

Other:

• This position requires up to 5% of domestic and international travel.
