    Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (IM) Research & Development (R&D) Finance is recruiting for a Junior Finance Analyst to be located in Raritan & Titusville, NJ.

    The Junior Finance Analyst, Innovative Medicine R&D Finance is responsible for supporting the Innovative Medicine R&D organization.

    Key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Operations: Supporting key activities that are instrumental to the IM R&D Finance organization. Support processes and projects using MS Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Expectation of the candidate would be to learn these applications and over time, help drive process efficiencies.
    • Professional Development: Growing knowledge of Johnson & Johnson and becoming familiar with baseline aspects of Innovative Medicine R&D Finance. Key activities include valuable e-learning as made available through department resources, networking with others, and attending J&J sponsored events.

    This role offers the opportunity to:

    • Foster internal partnerships of individuals, teams, and stakeholders across Innovative Medicine R&D Finance including FP&A, Portfolio, Operations and Therapeutic Areas; and developing core skills like business acumen, teamwork, time management, workplace presence, and communication.
    • Collaborate and encourage alignment across the Innovative Medicine department stakeholders.
    • Support the implementation of best practices, process and technology improvements, and benchmarking initiatives to advance operational excellence.
    • Promote a work environment that challenges the status quo and leads and adapts to change while managing ambiguity.
    • Gain visibility and exposure to senior leadership, sharing insights and progress on key projects.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent degree is required.
    • Completion of all requirements as defined by the Shine Collective including a 2 Week Core Skills Learning Curriculum.
    • Demonstrated strong performance, leadership, and intellectual curiosity.
    • Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment and work in a team.
    • Ability to drive passion and initiative to identify gaps but also potential solutions.
    • Ability to apply skills and knowledge to establish and develop critical thinking.
    • Must be flexible and adaptable and able to work in ambiguous situations.
    • Time management and organization skills, including ability to balance multiple deliverables simultaneously.
    • Communication skills that support achievement of tasks including writing and responding to emails, sharing ideas and status updates, and listening to feedback and opinions of others.

    Technical skills and willingness to learn new tools, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, Email, Calendar Management, and basic Data Management.
