POSITION SUMMARY: The primary focus of the Supply Chain Intern will be to support ongoing operational needs relative to safety, quality, productivity, and customer service, using LEAN disciplines. This role will require consistent on the floor engagement with all levels of the LC, Samples, and Purchasing teams. Research, data assembly, analysis, recommendations, and implementation plans, will be primary outputs expected from this position. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Actively pursuing a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. Project Management experience strongly desired. Superior organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously are required. Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Basic knowledge of warehousing and logistics preferred. Ability to interface well on the telephone. Knowledge of SAP is preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide assistance to the Distribution Center, Sample Service Center, and the Materials Department as needed. Manage projects to completion in a timely manner; maximize workflow efficiency and productivity. Any other task assigned by management.
