Job Description

The Chaplain is responsible for the chaplaincy and bereavement services for hospice patients and their families as required by Medicare regulations governing medical hospice programs. The Chaplain will work closely with KVH medical staff, nursing staff and social workers.

Qualifications

What is required...

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
• Certification and/or equivalent education, training and experience in the care of people and their families at the end of life

What is preferred...

• Bilingual
• Master’s degree

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range starts at $27.95/hour and goes up to $42.36/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. This position may also be eligible to receive an additional 15% premium in lieu of benefits.

FTE: Per Diem
