Job Description

The Clinic Medical Assistant Apprentice is a KVH employee that is enrolled in a certified Medical Assistant Apprenticeship program. The Apprenticeship program is intended to last one-year with the majority of the work and learning happening on-site, under the guidance of a preceptor. It is an expectation that the Medical Assistant Apprentice will complete the program and take the Department of Health Certified Medical Assistant test and become licensed by the State of Washington.

This position will rotate through all KVH clinics, including Cle Elum.

Qualifications

What is required...

• High School Diploma or equivalent

** Or**

• Current MA-R license from the Washington State Department of Health

** Or**

• Current NAC license from the Washington State Department of Health

_ ** Will need shortly after the program begins; Resources are available from KVH**_

• Current CPR card for Healthcare Providers

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range currently starts at $17.84/hour and goes up to $27.04/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.

FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week

Schedule: Primarily Monday - Friday; 8:00a - 5:00p
