About the Job The HR Assistant facilitates and coordinates the interview and on-boarding process for new hires. Working in conjunction with the Director of Recruitment and administrative leadership ensures that the pre-employment process is complete and requirements are met. Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: 1. Coordinates and schedules candidates for interviews with recruiter and members of the Department, Prepares and distributes itineraries to candidates and interviewers. Coordinates evaluation forms from interviewers on candidates after their visit. 2. Communicates with candidate and internal departments regarding new hire start date and new hire status throughout on-boarding cycle. 3. Coordinates and ensures all pre-employment requirements are met including health center visits, new hire paperwork, ID badge, etc. 4. Via Applicant tracking system, applies screening questions to requisitions, dispositions applicants accordingly, reviews resumes and updates notes on candidate status. 5. Prepares offer letters and on-boarding paperwork for candidate to ensure a smooth on-boarding experience. 6. Coordinates information, (CV, evaluation forms and reference letters), on candidates to ensure for a compliant, completed employee file prior to start. 7. Serves as a point of contact for questions/issues with new hires and department leadership. 8. Completes any other duties assigned. Education: Associates degree or equivalent work experience Experience: Two years administrative experience in a Human Resources or related field Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Well-organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment. Proven ability to self-motivate, work independently, and work together as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
