    We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Denver Shared Services Financial Planning & Analysis team. This highly visible position will produce a significant portion of the financial and operational reports that are delivered to our executive management team and external clients. The ideal person will have a financial background with exposure to a variety of finance and business concepts. The initial focus of this position will be to assist in setting up the new reporting environment / paradigm / go-forward strategy for Graebel’s new financial system. This focus will require understanding of reporting in Power BI. Graebel is an international organization, as are many of our clients, so studies or experience in International Business and Finance will contribute to your success.

     

    Principal/Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of that data, then process, design and present it in ways to help the business make better decisions.  Create decision support analytics for reporting to Senior Leadership to support key business initiatives and decisions
    • Identify reporting processes that are inefficient and create/change processes that will lead to measurable gains in data quality and processing time
    • Develop, modify, and distribute accurate, consistent and timely reporting of key performance metrics and operational results.  Utilize advanced queries and business intelligent reporting tools to extract information from several applications and systems, manipulate data, and developed user-friendly final outputs
    • Work in partnership with business units to develop automated reports in the most effective way. Provide solutions to data management and reporting needs and adapt/modify solutions based on changing requirements
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Skills

     LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/SPECIALIZED TRAINING: 

    • Power User level expertise in Microsoft Excel and SSRS
    • Experience with PowerBI and Microsoft Dynamics a plus

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business with an International focus is highly desired. Equivalent experience, which allows for a fundamental understanding of financial concepts and theories, may be acceptable in lieu of formal education.

    EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in finance and/or financial reporting.
