    Southwest Conservation Corps-Los Valles (SCC-LV), a program of Conservation Legacy, is located on Southern Ute land, in Salida Colorado. We are busy empowering individuals to positively impact their lives, their communities, and the environment. SCC-LV has broad program offerings including individual intern placements in natural resource positions as well as crew-based conservation service programs for youth, young adults, and current-era Veterans.

    Join us in making an impact by leading conservation staff and operations run out of the SCC-LV office, both developing funding for and managing all Los Valles based operations through a coordinated and collaborative staff structure. Our next Conservation Prog ram Director will have 5 years leadership and management experience in non-profit organizations and/or corps operations. The ideal candidate will have 5 years recent Corps or youth development organization experience, as well as 3-5 years' grant writing and budget management experience.

  • Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    • High School Graduate or GED equivalent.

    • School of surgical technology graduate or programs otherwise acceptable to the Association.

    Required Licenses: Certified Surgical Technologist.

    • Certification from National Association Scrub Technologists preferred; required within one year of employment.

    • BLS certification – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.

    • Membership in professional organization is strongly encouraged.
