Liberty Healthcare operates a statewide program in Idaho which assesses children and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and / or autism. These assessments are used to determine eligibility for various publicly-funded health and human services. Liberty Healthcare is now hiring for a full-time Assessor position. This is a field-based position which allows for some work from home and requires regular daily travel throughout the local region. Assessors serve a vital role with the program and enjoy a wide array of responsibilities, including: * Traveling throughout the region and conducting in-person visits with clients in their residences and other settings * Assessing people who have intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities and/or autism * Gathering and interpreting pertinent information from clients and caregivers * Assessing clients using standardized assessment tools (e.g. SIB-R, SIS, ICAP) * Determining clients eligibility for various Medicaid-funded health and human services * Completing a high volume of reports and within established deadlines As an Assessor and valued full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare you can expect: * Annual salary of $48,000 * A benefits package which includes health insurance, paid time off and more * Affiliation with an organization that is nationally-recognized as a leader in the provision of high quality health and human services to people who have disabilities Click here for a comprehensive overview of Liberty Healthcares benefits plan Skills & Requirements Well-qualified candidates will possess the following attributes: * Bachelors degree preferably in Social Work, Psychology or a related human services field * Minimum of one year of professional experience serving people who have intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities and/or autism * Highly organized, self-motivated, independent and able to be productive in an autonomous role * Ability to effectively use a smart phone, GPS, laptop and other remote office technology * Possess an insured vehicle in good working order and willingness to travel throughout the local region * Compassionate and committed to providing high quality service to clients who have disabilities and those who care for them Liberty Healthcare provides a wide array of health and human services to people throughout the United States.
