Apply scientific principles and infection control concepts when implementing the clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide and/or reinforce patient teaching with patient and family. Perform designated treatments according to policy and procedure. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an NLN accredited academic program leading to a Degree or Diploma in Nursing, with enrollment in a Baccalaureate Degree Program preferred. Completion of two semesters of clinical practicum. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. Current CPR certification.
