    The Business Development Managers will be responsible for overall sales, product profitability, trade support expenses and growth of a specific assigned set of stores and region. The duties require sales calls, daily supervision of assigned accounts, achieving Net sales budget, managing spoils, allowances, and cost of operation within Company guidelines and internal company needs. It is expected that the Account BDM has “ownership" of his or her accounts and is responsible for everything that occurs within the accounts.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

    • **** Provide Team Leadership as the main contact point for the accounts.
    • Develop strong relations with account decision makers throughout the various organizational levels.
    • Maintain the company’s commitment to exceed customer and consumer expectations.
    • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, expense budgets, distribution and shelf management and shelf management goals.
    • List accomplishments and any action items needing attention.
    • Execute Area plan: sales goals, promotional spending control, work with the Demo & marketing department to achieve maximum efficiency and ROI, in-store product mix/relationships/growth.
    • Sales Calls: execute promotional calendar to achieve growth price reduction, AD activity and secondary location displays.
    • If applicable, manage/monitor distributor efforts, inventory, rotation and customer service.
    • Work with Company support staff to maximize sales and accomplish corporate schematic and itemization objectives.
    • Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with all Area / Region Personnel.
    • Report to management all problems, competitive intelligence, accidents, retail conditions and potential growth opportunities
    • Other projects, tasks and duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • A clean driving record.
    • Ability to show proof of insurance twice yearly.
    • Experience in utilizing advanced sales techniques/ability to anticipate and fulfill customer needs.
    • Communication skills: ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
    • Industry knowledge: Full understanding of the market place and customer base and ability to stay abreast of changes in the market by continuously gathering competitive intelligence.
    • Negotiation skills: Experience and ability negotiating with customers in ways that are conducive to acquiring business while fostering positive relationships
    • Capability of using numerical data to identify industry trends.
    • Time management/Organizational skills: Displays goal awareness, assisting in the prioritization of activities
    • Ability to work without close supervision.

    Required Experience

    • 3+ years of sales experience in CPG - Food Manufacturing.

    • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.
