    POSITION OVERVIEW

    As a growing solutions company, IoT device technology is at our core. LRS is expanding its breadth of capabilities and tapping into new markets. To define and implement these new capabilities, we are seeking an EXPERIENCED SOLUTION ARCHITECT. The solutions architect’s job focuses on solution-level decisions and analysis of their impact on the overall business goals and outcomes. In addition to an individual contributor role, this hands-on technical leader will be responsible for analyzing and making recommendations for the technology environment, defining and documenting functional behavior based upon product features and roadmap, engineering tools and development processes, and supporting project management by leading local and remote resources through lean and agile methodologies.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead developer: hands-on product development leader who will both define and create key parts of the solution as well as mentoring and guiding team members

    • Technical leadership: find the best technology solution among all possibilities to solve current and future business problems for LRS and our clients

    • Product leadership: collaboratively work with product management to define the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the product to key stakeholders

    • Project leadership: with product management, define features phases, implementation requirements, along with resource and sprint timeline planning

    • Team leadership: manage assignments and deliverables of local and remote resources, including sprint planning and standup meetings

     COMPETENCIES

    • Deep analytical capabilities in defining cloud/fog product architecture

    • Proficiency in DevOps using product and source code control tools (Subversion, GitHub, Confluence, Jira, etc.)

    • Execution and results-oriented

    • Excellent organizational, time management and resource prioritization skills

    • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy are critical

    • Proven communication skills in written and verbal formats

    • Ability to work at a consistent level with minimal supervision and direction

    • Candidate must be proficient in speaking and writing in English

     KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering (Master’s degree preferred)

    • 8 years’ experience in enterprise software architecture and development (CRM, ecommerce, payment systems, IoT, mobile and cyber security solutions preferred)

    • Full stack hands-on developer

    • DevOps scaling and digital transformation, including roadmap definition and offshore agile project management

    • Full lifecycle leadership in defining, implementing and supporting cloud/fog IoT solution (AWS preferred)

    • Enterprise customer cloud adoption and/or migration experience in high-availability compute, device management and analytics reporting (Enterprise-to-Cloud or Cloud-to-Cloud)
