Infant and Toddler Program Coordinator Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center 4 reviews - Boston, MA $50,000 a year - Full-time, Part-time The Longwood Medical Area Childcare Center (LMACCC), located in the Longwood area of Boston, is looking for an Infant and Toddler Coordinator. The coordinator will promote the Centers educational approaches and will oversee the teaching teams to provide safe and a developmentally appropriate programs in accordance with all relevant company and state regulations, policies and procedures. Notable Responsibilities : * Develop, support and monitor daily and weekly reports, monthly newsletters, lesson plans, bi-monthly staff observations and annual staff merit evaluations. * Be the primary supervisor of full-time Infant and Toddler teaching staff and assist in the supervision of all Center staff. * Ensure the implementation and evaluation of educationally enriched and developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment. * Maintain childrens progress reports. * Act as a resource for families regarding child development topics and questions. * Assist in the development of program events, meetings and trainings. * Participate in daily review of staff scheduling and staff recruitment. Required Qualifications (unless otherwise noted) : * Bachelors degree preferred.

• Minimum of three years experience working in a high-quality child care center, preferably in corporate or multi-institutional setting. * Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) Director II qualified. Well versed in EEC regulations. * Ability and willingness to work a flexible shift Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. * Excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to present clear, concise, and timely communications through multiple methods. Ability to speak, read, and write in English. * Ability to organize and prioritize unrelated tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a strong attention to detail. * Professional customer service and interpersonal style; ability to interact and work with a diverse range of people .: : * Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Patience to meet demands of constantly changing priorities. * Strong supervision skills, judgement and initiative. * Ability to physically lift a minimum of 35 pounds, participate in physical activity including walks with children, maintain full sight and sound supervision of children at all times, and work both indoors and outdoors. Compensation and Benefits: : Compensation is low to mid $50s based on experience.
