Lovelace Medical Center is hiring a Pharmacy Intern. * Responsible for counseling patients on medication usage in addition to compounding and dispensing medication orders under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. * Assists the pharmacists in various professional and technical activities associated with the distribution of medications, the maintenance of drug inventory, patient records and patient financial records. * Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
