Nationally ranked and internationally recognized, our 311-bed hospital is devoted entirely to pediatrics and obstetrics. Our six centers of excellence provide comprehensive services and deep expertise in key obstetric and pediatric areas: brain & behavior, cancer, heart, pregnancy & newborn, pulmonary and transplant. We also provide an additional, wide range of services for babies, kids and pregnant moms. Under direct supervision, the Patient Experience Intern will gain practical experience in driving sustainable and measurable process projects at Lucile Packard Childrens (LPCH) hospital. Receives training and mentoring from senior professional personnel in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. Students are presented with an opportunity to build knowledge and skills in patient experience. Develops an understanding of analyzing and evaluating business plans and new programs and services. Assists in preparing financial reports, developing and/or utilizing spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications. Assists with data interpretation, quantitative or qualitative and gain experience and understand how to conduct variance analysis. Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education: Pursiung a Bachelor's or a Graduate degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
