    The Maintenance Intern will function as a member of the Maintenance team within Janssen Biotech, Inc in Malvern, PA, onsite at the manufacturing facility. The Maintenance co-op will work closely with Maintenance Supervisors, Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Project Managers and Technicians to gather and analyze data, assess manufacturing data for parts inventory needs and preventive maintenance documentation creation, implement projects to improve process reliability and reduce operating costs.

    • Assist in preparing and executing engineering documentation, operating procedures, maintenance procedures, and commissioning and validation test plans for utility and/or process systems.
    • SAP CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) data entry for assets, equipment, maintenance and calibration plans, task lists, functional locations
    • Interact with internal customers (Maintenance Technicians, Supervisors and Managers, Engineers, Operations) to identify new master data and changes to existing master data, and implement the updates in SAP.
    • Develop/modify departmental SOPs and practices as required.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of basic project management skills including development of a plan, schedule, costs, etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
    • Demonstrate communication and collaboration skills across functions
    • Review of design documentation, specifications, and related documents as they relate to engineering.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualification

    • Student working towards BS in Engineering or related science or technical field.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

    The anticipated base pay for this position is Sophomore $24.00/hr, Junior $25/hr, Senior $27/hr, Master’s degree $32/hr.
