    Purpose:

    The Manager, Forecasting - Immunology position is primarily responsible for generating, integrating, and translating insights and analytics to shape the forecasting process and support growth opportunities for brands within the Immunology Business. This position will partner closely with the existing forecasting & analytics team, brand leadership and other internal and external partners to uncover opportunities to strategically influence the Immunology Marketing & Sales teams. The position plays a key role in guiding the commercial team in the development and evaluation of business strategies and tactics, sharing accountability for business results.

    This individual must have outstanding learning agility, communication and collaboration skills, and financial acumen. They will have the tenacity and fortitude to drive projects forward and address the needs of patients. They will be personally accountable for making Johnson & Johnson Credo-based decisions and encouraging a Credo-based culture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the development and implementation of the Immunology forecast, models & tracking; proactively identify new data sources that will improve decision making & increase forecast accuracy. Implement forecast modeling approaches; work with supplier partners, cultivate positive relationships in the context of resources, timing and overall franchise goals.
    • Integrate forecasting efforts & insights with primary research, intelligence, & analytics insights developed by peers across the Strategic Insights & Analytics team and translate into business impact. Provide strategic input to business plans, sales & brand strategies and new product launch plans for the brands.
    • Ensure timely tracking of forecast accuracy and key assumptions across key data sources – prescription/sales, patient, call activity and competitive landscape to evaluate risk & opportunities. In partnership with integrated analytics colleagues, identify and develop tracking to measure and monitor performance.
    • Collaborate across the Immunology therapeutic area teams on key projects including forecasts and assessments of organizational strategies & actions with the potential to drive tangible growth in revenue or profit.
    • Apply basic consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation for impact.
    • Consistently focus on key business issues for the Immunology portfolio and demonstrate leadership courage in order to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects.
    • Stay abreast of emerging healthcare & pharmaceutical industry trends and assess potential impact on our franchise business strategies.
    • Act with speed, agility and accountability.
    • Cultivate meaningful internal and external partnerships, adding value and insights for the organization; remain insight driven to uncover important unmet needs.
    • Take personal accountability for making Credo-based decisions and encouraging a Credo-based culture.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    Education:

    • BA/BS or equivalent experience required, advanced degree desirable

    Experience and Skills

    Required:

    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in marketing, finance, analytics, management consulting or related field team experience.
    • The ability to work in the Horsham, PA location 3 days a week and travel domestically up to 10%.
    • Current or previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of pharmaceutical industry datasets.
    • High degree of collaboration, intellectual curiosity and demonstrated track record for continued growth, learning and development.
    • Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions through effective storytelling and communication
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and define a problem with a disciplined approach to solving.
    • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

    Preferred:

    • Previous experience with Forecasting and/or Analytics
    • Knowledge across a broad spectrum of analytical approaches, statistical techniques, and ability to identify appropriate approach(es) to address key business questions.
    • Fluency in Tableau or PowerBI, as well as SAS, SQL, or Dataiku to work with large datasets in J&J Innovative Medicine CDP.
    • Immunology therapeutic area experience preferred but not required.
