    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Manager, Legal & ESG Strategy Communications will serve as project lead for the team supporting communications for the Global Legal Organization and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives. As a skilled writer with strong internal and external communications experience, you will develop and complete projects across a wide range of areas including employee communications, internal events and digital campaigns. With a clear understanding of business priorities, you will use your adept skills to support executive communications. This individual will report to the Senior Director, Legal & ESG Strategy Communications.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Partner with Senior Director, Legal & ESG Strategy Communications to develop and execute strategic communication plans crafted to build thought leadership, engage employees and drive awareness.

    • Develop and implement enterprise wide ESG storytelling initiatives that shape, amplify and advance Johnson & Johnson’s brand and reputation with key audiences.

    • Work cross-functionally with business partners and subject-matter experts throughout the Company, acting as a strategic adviser.

    • Lead creative development and execution of internal executive engagements and special projects (e.g. quarterly webcasts).

    • Research and analyze incoming requests for communications and support the production of materials as needed (employee engagement initiatives, external speaker requests, videos, etc.)

    • Use data driven insights in program development and measure effectiveness to influence future business decisions and drive strategic direction.

  • Qualifications

    -

    Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, internal/employee communications or related field.
    
    • Excellent writing, editing, presentation and critical thinking skills.
    • Experience in overseeing social media and digital marketing.
    • Experience partnering with subject matter experts across a wide range of subjects to distill complex information and create compelling narratives.
    • Works well under pressure and utilizes excellent judgement.
    • Team player who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
    • Proactive, resourceful self-directed professional, who values accountability for the quality of their work.
    • Approaches contributions with a global mindset.
    • Experience in Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives preferred.

    Salary

    The base pay range for this position is $97,000- $166,750 USD

    BONUS

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
